I completely agree with this analysis. It’s almost insane that writes can’t, for the life of them, work in a woman the same way they can work in a man. It’s not hard. Strong female leads or co-stars can be insanely powerful additions to any story. Why can’t a woman be a strong force to whip the male character into shape? Why can’t a female swoop in to save the male? Why can’t women be portrayed, especially in futuristic settings, as the equal to men?

Honestly the 3DS has a few other really good titles if you like jRPG’s. The new Fire Emblem game is definitely worth looking at. It’s especially worth the upgrade if you don’t have a DSi.
